Cub Scouts camp out
Titus and Brian went on a camping trip with Ty's Cub Scout den a few weekends ago. I stayed home with Caleb but we went up and spent the afternoon with them on Saturday. They had a great spending time together and Caleb had fun hanging out with the big boys. These pictures of the boys playing flag football and a few of Caleb trying to bury himself with the rocks at the playground.

Friday Night Lights
This past Friday, Brian began coaching 6-man high school football with a family friend. My heart was bursting with pride as I watched Brian interact with those boys and do something that he really loves. Caleb thought is was the coolest thing to see football players up close and personal and Titus loved being able to play on a "real" football field after the game.

Vote for Titus
Titus has decided to run for Student Council in 3rd grade. He designed his poster all by himself and did a great job! We are so proud of him!

First Day Excitement
Today, Titus entered 3rd grade and Amanda started student teaching in 1st grade. Brian, Caleb, and I were able to walk Ty to his class and give hugs to Amanda. I am one proud Momma and sister today!

So you think you can dance......
I have no idea where they get it from, but the boys love to dance. Titus is really into hip hop dancing and Caleb, well he is into whatever Titus is doing. It is safe to say that if an upbeat song is on, they are dancing. Here they are cutting a rug.

Angry Bird Pizza Night
Last night was Angry Bird pizza night. As I am sure most of you are aware of, kids are obsessed with the game Angry Birds, so we decided to make a pizza that looked like one of the birds. The boys had a great time designing and decorating the pizza as well as speaking with an Italian accent. Below are some pictures from our pizza night!

Birthday Blessings
We celebrated Dad's 55th birthday today by taking him to the Monument Inn for dinner. After dinner the boys watched the ships go by. I am so blessed to have my parents so close and to have them be such a huge part of my life and our boys lives.
Happy Birthday Dad!

Brothers
So Titus and Caleb have come to that inevitable point where they like to irritate each other, but sometimes they will do something that brings just a glimmer of hope back into my heart. Something that makes me think, "they really do like each other".
After an episode last night where Caleb screamed at an octave I didn't know existed because Titus had a toy that Caleb wanted, they decided to play basketball (which usually leads to someone getting hurt or mad). Instead of rough housing and fighting over the ball Caleb begins to cheer Titus on as if he is watching an actual game! This little scene warmed this mommas heart and I grabbed my phone to video it for proof that I wasn't dreaming.
I watched this video this morning and Hebrews 12:1 came to mind. "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us..." To think that my cloud of witnesses are cheering me on, chantting my name like sweet Caleb was doing for his big brother makes me want to press on, fight harder, and finish strong!
